        Saint George is the   of England. His cross is England’s flag. Saint George lived in the Middle East around AD 300. He was tortured and killed because he was a Christian. There are many stories about Saint George’s strength and  . The most famous is the story of Saint George and the dragon. The story took place in a small town called Silne. Today Silne has become known as the city of Beirut. And this is where the story begins.
