All the pupils start in one end of the classroom or a corridor. The teacher holds up a sheet of paper with a word (in Norwegian) from the glossary. The first pupil to say the English translation of the word out loud, gets to jump a space ahead. Continue with more words from the glossary. The first student to make it across the classroom or corridor (or who gets the furthest when all the words from the glossary are translated), is the winner. 

A dog is a man’s best friend, is a saying. Some people keep dogs just for pleasure and company, but other dogs have special jobs. What kind of “jobs” can dogs have? Write a list of your ideas.
